All positions are unpaid, but they are fantastic resume builders and a wonderful way to meet people with whom you share interests and talents. Time commitments vary by position, but we are looking for a dedicated and consistent staff. All staff members except for bloggers will be required to attend a bi-weekly editorial meeting.
For the 2020-2021 Academic Year we are currently searching for Bloggers, Photographers, Photography Director, Staff Editors and Writers, as well as team members to work with out Art and team members to work with our Art Director.

Bloggers: Submit at least two posts per month (can be pictures, story, poem, art, etc.) while studying abroad. Posts must be written/submitted while blogger is overseas.
Staff Writers: Submit at least two posts per month (can be pictures, story, poem, art, etc.) on a topic related to travel. Writer must have traveled to the place(s) he/she writes about at some point.
Editors: Review, select and edit written submissions, art and blog posts. Knowledge of AP style is desirable.
Art Director: Design the layout of the print magazine in coordination with production schedule and work with the Marketing Director to create promotional materials (posters, flyers, etc.). Must have proficient knowledge of Adobe InDesign. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is desirable.
Marketing Director: Brainstorm and execute creative marketing strategies including social media activity, planning events, soliciting submissions for blog and magazine, distributing the print magazine, organizing the photo contest and increasing publicity within the UW community.
Webmaster: Update website for Souvenirs. Must have proficient knowledge of WordPress or similar program/website.
