Name: Nicholas Robert Klar Hometown: Milwaukee, WI Age: 21 School: UW-Madison Major: Finance & Real Estate 3 Adjectives to Describe your Personality: Extrovertive, spontaneous, curious Favorite Things: The Color Blue, Sara Bareilles, Large Quantities of Food, Staying Up Late for no reason, Sherlock, Silicon Valley, The Office, Billy Joel, Ping-Pong, Basketball, Musical Theatre, Singing, Meeting new people, Good customer service, smiling, European History, Tech Stocks, Settlers of Catan, Extreme Hydration, Contests of all shapes and sizes, quoting random youtube video, and making truthful, yet satirical, lists. On a more serious note: Hi guys! My name is Nick and I’m from MIlwaukee, WI majoring in Finance and Real Estate in the Business School. On Campus, I work at StudentPrint in the Student Activities Center and try to get the most out of the UW experience by going to Gamedays, attending org sponsored events, and making a new friend everyday! I am the oldest of 3 boys, a Sagittarius, a former athlete, and lover of the arts. I have made some of my best friends in the world at Madison and we like to play racquetball, have political debates, and dance to the latest beats for fun. Overall, I would describe myself as a silly, all-american kid, who has an enthusiastically positive and friendly outlook on life. I am extremely excited about Studying Abroad in London, UK as I hope to truly grow by absorbing a european culture. It absolutely excites me to be able to immerse myself in a foreign land people who have such a different background than myself. I believe that in distancing myself from what is familiar will allow me to get out of my comfort zone in ways I can’t anticipate, and that is how I will truly grow in my world view.
